First, I must say thanks to Broch at http://www.brochspot.com, who set up this blog for me, and also posted my "toon", and to April, http://whimsytoons.com who created my very own toon.
I'm trying to set up a freelance business building or revamping websites for consultants, with my first niche market being management consultants, and am spending oodles of time trying to figure out how to make it all come together..... On the virtual front, I'm working with a web designer/developer out of Iowa, flinging around potential business ideas with a very talented public speaker out of San Francisco, and sending out queries to a myriad of other folks. All of this is both energizing, time-consuming, and exhausting....
On the local front, I also have one local project (smallish), am attending a goodly amount of networking meetings, and will start taking some graphic arts courses as of next week! Will all of this coalesce into a viable income? It is not yet clear, but in the meantime...I'm keeping enormously 7-day-a-week busy, sniffing out new information, making new connections, and (for the most part) having a good time.
However, all this exploratory activity has seriously hampered my blogging attempts, so I suspect for a while my blogging will be sporadic at best. So time to press the "save" button, post, and get back to more virtual exploration!
